"Cathedral guidance" 2015/10/18
Today we have a cathedral guidance by a Taiwanese PhD student.I'm very glad to meet so many Taiwanese students today.
It's really a good opportunity to understand the history and religion of Britain. The senior student took us to the inside of Cathedral and we saw the decoration and the exotic style wall. However, we are not allowed to take a picture in the cathedral, only when matriculation or the other Important events could do.
He also explain the difference between the Romanesque architecture and the Gothic architecture.
今天由正在攻讀神學博班的學長帶我們遊覽Durham Cathedral, 除了介紹英國的宗教與歷史，也帶我們進入Cathedral，介紹基督教的儀式與一些建築的設計。讓我們可以瞭解更多關於英國的歷史與信仰，也讓我們知道每個學院命名的偉人在基督史上的地位及貢獻。真的是很棒的解說!
